Jeannette Kocsis is an industry thought leader, covering topics such as search engine marketing, social media and mobile marketing. Jeannette started her interactive career by building her first Web site in 1997, and learned Web marketing the hard and yet more effective way - doing it for herself.
She owned and operated a community/e-commerce Web site for over four years, far before Web 2.0 and the social Web appeared. Loyal customers drove site traffic of over 100,000 visitors per month, and this was in 1999! Her understanding of the needs of her customers made the site a success.
Jeannette serves on the DMA Search Engine Marketing Advisory Board, and was a founding member of the council in 2001. She also services on the DMA Mobile Marketing Advisory Board, and was a founding member of the mobile council in 2008.
Jeannette recently contributed to the mobile section of Social Media Marketing for Dummies, which was published in November 2009.
